The basta manifesto revolutionizes sheet metal bending

At LAMIERA 2025 (fiera milano Rho, May 6-9), a groundbreaking proposal that completely redefines the rules of bending will take center stage: the BASTA Manifesto.

At the heart of the exhibition is the Power Bend Industrial, a variable blade tangential bending machine that perfectly embodies this revolution.

A manifesto that says BASTA to complexity, inefficiencies, and technical limitations, introducing a simpler, more precise, and effective approach to bending.

  • BASTA with flipping the workpiece: bending, both upward and downward, always occurs with the piece lying flat.
  • BASTA with guiding the piece in mid-air: the machine independently manages centering and support during processing.
  • BASTA with complex programming: the user-friendly operating system enables intuitive management, even for novice operators.
  • BASTA with changing tools: a single tool performs positive, negative, flattened, and radiused bends.

The Power Bend Industrial represents a completely new approach, processing sheet metal up to 6 mm thick with lengths up to 4 meters, with maximum edges of 500 mm. While others focus their efforts on electrifying traditional systems, this technology reimagines the entire geometry and mechanics of bending.

The result is a machine that not only drastically reduces energy consumption but allows a single operator to manage operations that would normally require multiple people – ideal for producing boxes, panels with large windows, and multi-part profiles.

Tangential bending technology guarantees:

  • Reduced production times
  • Elimination of the need for experienced operators
  • Increased precision and repeatability
  • Drastic reduction in energy consumption
  • Built-in operator safety

At LAMIERA 2025, live demonstrations of tangential bending will showcase how this technology is not just an alternative to traditional bending machines, but a true evolution of the bending concept itself, which is already transforming the most innovative workshops across Italy.
