6-station transfer die for cooktop frame

Drawing on an ample and diversified experience with aesthetical parts, Walmaz has worked in close
cooperation with the customer in order to define the part design. This has also been achieved thanks to
simulations and prototype equipment.
As the starting material is pre-painted steel with protective film, rotating bending punches and internal release movements have been used in order to ensure a precise and high-quality bending of the part. Thanks
to this kind of devices no damage is caused on the part surface.
Furthermore, the customer has the possibility to adjust the bending during the production in order to compensate for the variations due to different raw material batches.
All of this has allowed the customer to:
– Get high quality surface parts
– Comply with the required dimensions
– Optimize the productivity by shortening the time needed for the change-over and adjustment operations
