Starting from this edition LAMIERA will propose a Revamping & Retrofitting area focused on machines and plants that have been adequately renewed and equipped with new functionalities to meet the needs of a market that is complementary to that of “new machinery”.
In the spotlight of the exhibition area are machines and technologies for sheet metal forming, cutting and processing, together with robots and automation systems, which have been revamped and retrofitted.
The product offering of Revamping consists of machines and systems that meet the criteria set forth in Industry 4.0, with a specific focus on the theme of sustainable production.
The product offering of Retrofitting is made up of machines and systems on which maintenance and retrofitting work has been carried out, involving the replacement of key constituent parts. On display will be machinery built after the issuance of the Machinery Directive 98/37CE of 1998. Basically, what is called “Certified Pre-owned Machine”.
